How this list is made

Each birth date is the one publicly recorded for that person, taken from the person’s Wikipedia article and checked against Wikidata. People whose birth date Wikipedia itself gives as uncertain or in two versions are left out. So are people now holding political office, and the list keeps to people known for their work rather than for a court case. The Mulank and Bhagyank are worked out by the same method as our Mulank and Bhagyank calculator: the Mulank is the day of birth reduced to one digit, and the Bhagyank is the total of every digit of the full date reduced to one digit.

The “number link” lines compare each person’s known work with the traits numerology traditionally links with their Mulank. They are a reading for interest, not proof: achievement comes from talent, effort, opportunity and many other things. Thousands of people share each of these birth dates.

None of the people on this page is connected with Namieta Modi or has used her services. Their names are used only to show how the numbers are read.

Find your own numbers

Enter your date of birth in the calculator to see your Mulank and Bhagyank, what each one means, and which famous people share them.

Questions about famous people and their numbers

Does having the same Mulank as a famous person mean I will succeed in the same way?

No. A Mulank describes tendencies, such as a liking for leading or for research. What a person does with them depends on effort, opportunity, upbringing and the rest of their chart. Thousands of people are born on each of these dates.

How is the Mulank of a famous person worked out?

The same way as yours: take the day of the month they were born and add its digits until one digit is left. Someone born on the 28th has Mulank 2 + 8 = 10, 1 + 0 = 1. The Bhagyank adds every digit of the full date of birth.

Why are some well-known people missing?

The list is a selection across fields. People whose birth date is recorded in more than one way are left out, because a different day would give a different Mulank; Milkha Singh, Om Puri and Kalpana Chawla are among them. People now holding political office are also left out, and the list keeps to people known for their work rather than for a court case.

How do I find a particular film star or cricketer?

If you know the day of birth, use the Mulank buttons at the top. The India and World buttons narrow the list, and the table of people by Bhagyank near the end links to every name on the page.

Can I check a name and date of birth together?

Yes. The name numerology calculator gives the name number and shows whether it suits the Mulank and Bhagyank of a date of birth.
