Wands tarot cards and their meanings
Wands are the suit of fire. They are about drive, ambition, courage and the urge to start something. In a reading they usually point to work and projects: a job offer, a business idea, the decision to sit an exam or move to a new city, anything that needs energy and a first move.
The numbered cards follow one idea from spark to burden. The Ace is the spark. The Two and Three make a plan and wait for results, and the Four celebrates a first success. The Five to Seven bring competition, a public win and the need to defend it. The Eight is fast news, and the Nine and Ten show the strain of carrying a plan to its end. The court cards are people or attitudes: the Page an eager beginner, the Knight someone who acts before thinking, the Queen a warm and confident organiser, and the King a leader with a clear vision. Fire moves fast, so Wands tend to come up when something wants to move now.

When several of these cards come up
Several Wands in one spread put the question in the realm of action. Ask three things: what is being started, where the energy is running low, and where you are rushing. Suppose someone asks about opening a boutique and draws the Three, Seven and Ten of Wands. A common reading is that the plan has real prospects, that it will meet competition, and that the work will fall on one pair of shoulders unless it is shared. Reversed Wands commonly point to delay, scattered energy or a plan that needs a new direction, which is a reason to rethink the plan, not to drop it.
