Where to start
Pick the calculator for the place you have in mind: house for the home you live in, office or shop for a workplace, and plot or property when you are still deciding whether to buy or rent. You need a phone compass and a few minutes standing at the centre of the space. The Kua number is personal rather than about the building, so use it for where you sleep and sit. The house number check is numerology, not Vastu, and sits here because people often look at both together.
Frequently asked questions
How do I find the directions in my home?
Stand at the centre of the home, or of the flat, with a phone compass held flat and away from steel and electrical boards. Note north, then place each room in one of the eight directions.
My score is low. Do I need to break walls?
No. A low score means several rooms differ from the common placements, not that the home is bad. Most corrections are about how rooms are used and arranged. Read the guide for each room marked avoid before planning any construction.
What if my home has no pooja room or no basement?
Choose the option that says the room is not in the property. It is left out, and the score is worked out only from the rooms your home has.
Can a Vastu consultant check the place in person?
