Horoscope today for all 12 signs

These pages use your Western sun sign, the sign the Sun was in on your birthday (find it with the zodiac sign calculator). The Indian rashifal by Moon sign is on the राशिफल pages, in Hindi.

Daily readings use the Moon’s position in the tropical zodiac and count its house from your sun sign. Weekly readings follow the Moon through the week plus the Sun, Mercury, Venus and Mars; monthly readings follow those four planets and take the good days from the Moon; yearly readings follow Jupiter and Saturn. Each placement is read with the traditional transit rules, so no reading is made up day to day.

In transit, each planet is traditionally helpful in some houses and asks for care in others. Favourable means a good time to act, mixed means an ordinary day, and take care means slow down and think before you commit.

Western astrology uses the tropical zodiac, tied to the seasons. Indian astrology uses the sidereal zodiac, tied to the stars, which is now about 24 degrees behind. Many people move back one sign, and Indian astrology also reads from the Moon sign rather than the Sun sign.

No. A sign horoscope is the same for everyone born under that sign. Your own birth chart, with your ascendant and planets, changes how a transit plays out for you.
