Name numerology calculators
A name adds up to a number, and these calculators read it the way most Indian numerologists do, with the Chaldean chart, then set it against your date of birth. Use them for your own name, a shop or company name, or a name for a new baby.
What each one does
- Name numerologyYour Chaldean name number and compound number with the Cheiro reading, plus the Western Expression, Soul Urge and Personality numbers.
- Chaldean numerologyChaldean only, letter by letter: each letter's value, the compound number with its Cheiro reading and the single-digit name number.
- Business name numerologyUp to three shop, firm or company names compared side by side, and which one sits best with the owner's date of birth.
- Name correction numerologySmall spelling changes to your name, ranked by how well the new name number suits your Mulank (Moolank) and Bhagyank.
- Baby name by date of birthYour baby's naam akshar from the nakshatra pada at birth, the name numbers that suit, and a check of up to 10 names.
Where to start
Start with the name numerology calculator to see what your name adds up to now, written the way you sign it. If the number does not sit well with your date of birth, the name correction calculator suggests spellings that do, as a shortlist to think over, not a final name. For a new business, compare the names on your list before the board is painted. For a newborn, begin with the baby name calculator, which gives the first syllable as well as the numbers.
Frequently asked questions
Should I use my full name or the name I am called by?
Use the name you sign and use most, written the way you write it. Titles like Shri, Mr or Dr are left out. If you use two forms in different places, check both.
Chaldean or Pythagorean: which does a name calculator use?
The name number most Indian numerologists use comes from the Chaldean chart, which gives letters values from 1 to 8. The Western Expression, Soul Urge and Personality numbers use the Pythagorean chart, 1 to 9. The name calculator shows both.
Do I have to change my name legally for a correction to work?
Many people change only how they write the name day to day, in a signature, on a board or online, before thinking about legal paperwork. Talk it over before you change any official record.
Is a numerology name check enough for a baby name?
Families usually start from the naam akshar, the first syllable given by the Moon's nakshatra pada at birth, and then choose a name whose number suits the date of birth. The baby name calculator checks both, but the meaning and the sound matter to most families as much.
Can someone check a name I have shortlisted?
Yes. You can send your shortlist with the date of birth to Namieta on WhatsApp and book a consultation, where she looks at the name together with your full numbers.
