Chaldean or Pythagorean: which chart does this site use?
The Chaldean chart, the usual choice in Indian name numerology, gives letters the values 1 to 8. The Pythagorean chart, common in Western books, runs 1 to 9 in alphabet order. The name calculator and the alphabet chart show both.
Which name should I check?
The name you use every day, as you sign it or as people call you. Many people also check the name on their documents if it is spelt differently.
Should I change the spelling of my name if the number does not suit me?
