Where to start
Start with the Mulank and Bhagyank calculator, as most Indian readings build on these two numbers, and the lucky number, mobile and vehicle checks all compare against them. If you want the full picture on one page, the numerology chart adds the Western numbers from your name. The Lo Shu grid is the one to open if you are curious about what is strong or missing in your date of birth. Life Path, karmic debt and maturity follow the Western method.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between Mulank and Bhagyank?
Mulank (Moolank) is the day you were born reduced to one digit, so someone born on the 23rd has Mulank 5. Bhagyank is the whole date of birth added up and reduced. Mulank is read for your nature and Bhagyank for the direction of your life.
Is the Life Path number the same as Bhagyank?
Both add up the full date of birth, but the Western Life Path keeps the master numbers 11, 22 and 33 and adds the day, month and year separately first, so the two can differ. The Life Path calculator shows both side by side.
Should I change my mobile or vehicle number if it does not suit me?
Not on a calculator result alone. A number that does not match is one factor among many. If you are choosing a new SIM or booking a new registration number anyway, it is a good moment to pick one that suits you.
Which numbers count in a vehicle or mobile number?
Every digit of the mobile number is added. For a vehicle plate the calculator reads the number at the end by default, since the state, RTO and series letters are shared with many other vehicles. Tick the full plate option to count every digit and letter too, with letters by the Chaldean chart.
