These tools read your own birth chart from your date, time and place of birth. Start with the Janam Kundli, then open the parts of the chart you want to look at more closely.

Where to start

If you know your birth time, open the Janam Kundli first: it gives the whole chart and points you to the dasha, Manglik and sade sati results. Without a birth time, the rashi, nakshatra and sade sati tools still work, because they only need the Moon. The lagna, Navamsa and Atmakaraka tools depend on an exact time, so use them once you have it from a birth certificate or hospital record.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need my exact birth time?

For the lagna, the houses, the Navamsa and the chara karakas, yes, because the rising sign changes about every two hours and the D9 even faster. Your rashi, nakshatra, dasha and sade sati depend on the Moon, which moves slowly, so a date alone is often enough.

Which ayanamsa do these charts use?

All of them use the Lahiri ayanamsa, the one most Indian panchangs follow. If another astrologer's chart differs by a degree or so, a different ayanamsa is the usual reason.

Why is my zodiac sign different from my rashi?

The zodiac sign is the Western sun sign, counted in the tropical zodiac. Your rashi is the Moon's sign in the sidereal zodiac used in Indian astrology. They are two different measurements, so most people have two different signs.

Are my birth details saved anywhere?

No. Every chart is worked out in your browser and nothing you enter is stored.

Can Namieta read the chart with me?

Yes. The tools show the chart, and a reading puts the parts together for your own questions. You can book a Kundli or BNN reading with her on WhatsApp.
