Who a tarot reading is for
Most people come with one question on their mind. A reading suits you if:
- You are weighing a decision and want to look at it from another side
- You have a question about a relationship, at home or at work
- You are thinking about your career, a job change or a new direction
- You are going through a period of change and want time to reflect
- You would rather talk from home, wherever you are in India
What a tarot reading is
A deck of 78 cards
A tarot deck has 78 cards. The 22 cards of the Major Arcana stand for the larger themes and turning points in life. The 56 cards of the Minor Arcana are split into four suits and speak about everyday matters.
The four suits
The Minor Arcana has four suits: Wands, Cups, Swords and Pentacles. In common readings, Wands are linked with energy and work, Cups with feelings and relationships, Swords with thoughts and hard choices, and Pentacles with money, home and practical matters.
A spread for your question
The cards are laid out in a pattern called a spread. Each place in the spread looks at one part of your question, such as where things stand now, what is in the way and what to keep in mind.
What people commonly ask about
Relationships
A partner, a marriage, family ties or a friendship, and how to approach a conversation you have been putting off.
Career and work
A job change, a new role, a study choice or a business idea, and what to weigh before you move.
Decisions
Two or more paths in front of you, and what each one asks of you.
A period of change
A move, a loss, a new chapter or a time that feels unsettled, and what to focus on while it lasts.
Tarot alongside numerology and Kundli
Tarot works from the question you ask today. Numerology works from your name and date of birth, and a Kundli from your date, time and place of birth. If you would like, Namieta can look at your numbers or your chart alongside the cards. This is offered, not required: a tarot reading stands on its own.
Numerology
Your Mulank (Moolank) and Bhagyank, worked out from your date of birth. See the date of birth analysis.
Kundli
Your birth chart, read from your date, time and place of birth. See Kundli and astrology reading.
What tarot is, and is not
A tool for reflection
The cards give you pictures and ideas to think with. Seeing a question laid out in front of you can make it easier to think it through.
Not a guaranteed prediction
A tarot reading does not promise outcomes or tell you for certain what will happen. The choices, and what you make of the reading, stay yours.
Not a substitute for professional advice
Tarot is not a substitute for medical, legal or financial advice. For questions about health, the law or money, please speak to a qualified professional.

Questions about tarot readings
Do I need to come to Nagpur for a tarot reading?
No. Tarot readings are given by video call, so you can join from home, wherever you are in India. The cards are drawn and read for your question during the call.
What should I ask?
An open question works best, such as "What should I keep in mind about this job offer?" or "How can I approach this conversation with my partner?" A question that asks only for a yes or no, or for a date, gives the cards less to say. One clear question is enough.
Will the cards predict my future?
No. Tarot is a tool for reflection. A reading can help you see your question from another side, but it does not give guaranteed predictions or promise outcomes. The decisions stay yours.
Do I need to send my date of birth?
Not for tarot: your question is enough. Send your date of birth only if you would like your numerology or Kundli looked at alongside the cards. A Kundli also needs your time and place of birth.
Can tarot answer health, legal or money questions?
Tarot is not a substitute for medical, legal or financial advice. For those questions, please speak to a qualified doctor, lawyer or financial adviser.
How do I book a tarot reading?
Message Namieta on WhatsApp with your name, your question and the days and times that suit you. You then agree a time for the video call. She is open 7 days.
