What the card shows
A full moon with a face looks down from between two towers, shedding drops of light. Below, a dog and a wolf howl at it, and a crayfish crawls out of a pool. A winding path runs between them toward the distant hills.
The Moon upright
The Moon is the card of uncertainty, dreams and things that are hard to see clearly. In moonlight, shapes blur and fears look bigger than they are. It often comes up when the facts are missing and feelings are loud: a decision you keep turning over at night, a person whose words and actions do not match, a worry that grows the more you think about it. Its Golden Dawn sign is Pisces, the sign of dreams, imagination and the unseen. The card says that not everything is what it seems, and that your intuition may be picking up something true. It also asks for caution. Walk the path slowly, and make no final decision until daylight shows you more.
The Moon reversed
Reversed, the Moon shows confusion starting to lift. A truth comes out, a fear turns out to be smaller than it looked, or a misunderstanding is cleared up. This can be uncomfortable, because clarity sometimes ends a story you wanted to believe. It can also show anxiety easing after a difficult time. Act on what is now clear, and give yourself time to adjust.
In love and relationships
In love, the Moon shows uncertainty and mixed signals. Singles should be careful of seeing someone as they wish them to be, not as they are. Couples may face a misunderstanding, or a worry that has grown in silence. Asked how someone feels, the card shows confused or hidden feelings. Ask your question plainly, and listen to the answer.
In career and study
At work, the Moon marks unclear signals: shifting plans, an offer with missing details, or office talk you cannot check. Gather the facts before acting, read the fine print and keep notes. It suits creative, artistic, psychological and spiritual work, where imagination is a strength.
In money matters
With money, the Moon warns of an unclear picture: hidden costs, vague terms, or a scheme that sounds better than it is. Do not sign anything you do not fully understand. Bring every figure into the light first.
