Romanised: Om śrāṃ śrīṃ śrauṃ saḥ candrāya namaḥ
Meaning: Om, the seed sounds of the Moon, salutations to Chandra. Many books end it “chandramase namah” (चन्द्रमसे नमः); both forms are in common use.

दधिशङ्खतुषाराभं क्षीरोदार्णवसंभवम्।
नमामि शशिनं सोमं शम्भोर्मुकुटभूषणम्॥
Romanised: dadhi-śaṅkha-tuṣārābhaṃ kṣīrodārṇava-sambhavam /
namāmi śaśinaṃ somaṃ śambhor-mukuṭa-bhūṣaṇam
Meaning: I bow to Soma, the Moon, white like curd, the conch and snow, born of the ocean of milk, the jewel on Shiva’s crown.
The Navagraha stotra is traditionally ascribed to the sage Vyasa and has one verse for each graha.
